Launched in July 2010, MSH has booked over 1,000 events. Our aim is to make live music more accessible to clients whilst supporting young musicians at the early stages of their professional careers.
Our roster of over 1,000 musicians include a 50-50 combination of recent graduates and current undergraduates from some of the top music colleges and universities around the country. Our national pool of musicians include String Quartets, Jazz Musicians, Harpists, Pianists, Singers and much more.
We discuss with our clients: the nature of the event, location, times & date, audience, desired ambience, specific requirements, and budget.
The combination of musician(s) and music genre is proposed, along with audio samples and repertoire list.
We ask for a third of the total fee as a deposit. The balance is payable one business day after
We re-confirm all arrangements and exchange telephone numbers with both you and the musician(s) at least 2 days before the event.
Musicians are expected to be present at least 25 minutes before the start time of the performance.
Musicians require between 5-10 minutes break every hour if they are playing for 2 hours or longer.
The music was sublime, and my mother spent the last 15 minutes on the small harp 'having a go' with the harpist's encouragement and support. It was everything I had hoped it would be, and I will be writing separately to the harpist via you to express my appreciation." (Harpist, Manchester, January 2014)"
I write to say a huge thank you to the musicians for playing so beautifully at our Wedding last Friday at Clearwell Castle. They all did a really superb job and attracted some very special comments from our guests. I however, am terribly disappointed that I didn't even get to introduce myself or speak to any of them at least to simply say thankyou. I had overlooked that their role during our Wedding day, was always going to be whilst I was elsewhere, either getting ready for my day or having the long photograph session that traditionally follows a wedding ceremony. Please pass on my apologies for this but also my sincerest thanks for their contribution in making our day just perfect. I wouldn't highly recommend you and your team to anybody requiring musicians for an event - I would specially recommend you! You have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you again Robin and Merry Christmas to you and all the fabulous musicians.
– Pianist & Wind Quintet, Forest of Dean, December 2013 –
– Jazz trio, Manchester, December 2013 –
They judged the mood and environment perfectly throughout the meal and then afterwards, then moving to some recorded music to respond to the dance mood toward the end of the evening. I will recommend you and Trilogy going forward for any musical needs we have with our clients as a result, it all worked perfectly. I hope they were happy with their work - the Dorchester Library provided a fabulous environment for our very special occasion.
– Jazz trio, London, October 2013 –
– Harpist, Darwen, November 2013 –
to the musicians that played on the 24th August at our wedding. They were absolutely amazing and we couldn't have wished for anything better. They were extremely professional and all the guests thoroughly enjoyed listening to them. Thank you for your great service.
– String trio, Staffordshire, August 2013 –
for their playing at our wedding on 8th June. I didn’t get to hear much of them myself, but all our guests said they were excellent, so please pass on our compliments. I’ve already recommended you to one other couple getting married this year!
– String trio, West Sussex, June 2013 –
for the performance provided by R and A. The girls were absolutely superb and the comments that we received from all our guests ware testament to the quality of their music and the selection of pieces they played. They really were outstandingly good on the day and we count ourselves lucky that they were able to play for us. Of course, one of the problems with being the bride and groom is that, I suspect like others before us, the emotion of the day and all the other commitments on our time, interfered with our personal ability to listen with the attention I know was deserved, although it was all right for the guests who had nothing to distract them! I know the Canon opened beautifully and was exactly how D would have wanted, but after the first couple of bars I was rather distracted by the sight of the bride approaching, and Dee was equally distracted by trying to walk to the front of the ceremony room.
Equally, the piece by Yarumi began exactly as we had hoped, but once the Registrar and photographer began demanding our attention we were not able to devote our time to listening to the girls. It was only the piece by Savage Garden that we could freely listen to, and as soon as the Ceremony was over we were whisked off to the gardens for more photographs. Again, very many thanks for facilitating their performance at Chatsworth for us. The girls were truly outstanding and played a most significant part in making our day so special
– Flute & Harp Duo, Derbyshire, June 2013 –
She was superb. The quality of her performance and the calibre of her service to my family were so self-evident. She was entirely professional in all that she did and many people commented on the pleasure that her playing gave both at the start of the day and during the quiet period before the storm that was the wedding breakfast.
– Solo harpist, Wedding Yorkshire, May 2013 –
Both quartets played beautifully at our wedding reception and were very much enjoyed by us and all of our guests. The musicians were very professional, punctual, polite and enormously impressive. I would recommend them to everyone and we will definitely be using MSH for our future events. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks and praise to the very talented musicians we met on Saturday.
– String quartet & jazz quartet, Wedding, Hertfordshire, April 2013 –
I didn't get a chance to talk to them (or to say thank you after), but I did get to listen as we were having photos done. Our guests also commented on how lovely they sounded. Please pass on our thanks for their playing and for their professionalism, there was no fuss - as far as I know, they came in, played beautifully and disappeared as discreetly as they arrived.
– String trio, Wedding, West Sussex, March 2013 –
My plan to get people to move from the restaurant to another room back fired but the quartet kindly re-seated themselves for me which ended up in a better location for everyone to hear them. So absolutely great! Many thanks again and yes evening was a success!! Thanks – and shall thoroughly recommend.
– String quartet, University Function, Nottingham, March 2013 –

I spoke to P the day before the wedding to check she was happy with directions and she sounded really organised and knew what you and I had discussed in our previous emails about type/style of music we wanted which was really helpful. The weather was quite changable on the wedding day and whilst they started playing inside they very kindly moved outdoors for us when the weather had improved so we could make the most of the venue grounds. The music was beautiful and really set the tone/atmosphere for the day.
The trio were extrememly talented and professional. We had a wonderful wedding day thank you. I only wish I could turn back time and do it all again. Thank you very much for all your help. The musicians you had arranged for us were perfect for what I was looking for. It was lovely working with you and I wish you all the best for the future.
– String trio, Wedding, Leicestershire, August 2012 –
The quality of acts that came through from you was great, and you and the team were a joy to work with. I hope that the acts were happy playing at the MPC - the feedback that we have had from the press was all positive, and the number of cameras filming the performances speaks for itself.
– Over 30 acts for London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, August - September 2012 –
The harpist was a particular talking point and we heard nothing but good things from everyone. I'm afraid we only had a brief chat with the harpist so if you could pass on our thanks it would be appreciated, and of course many thanks to you for making this happen so smoothly!
– Solo harpist, Wedding, Wakefield, July 2012 –
The acoustics inside the building were phenomenal and it was honestly just perfect. When I arrived they were playing and as soon as Canon in D began and my bridal party proceeded down the aisle I got a lump in my throat it was just magnificent. When it was my turn I had completely forgot I had requested Kissing You and it just sounded tremendous. I was beaming right the way down.
They played all the songs I had requested and they were in sync and sensational all the way through. Them playing was certainly one of the highlights of my wedding and all the guests thought so too. Thanks for providing them and please pass our thanks on to them too they really are gifted musicians.
– Harp & violin duo, Wedding, Liverpool, July 2012 –
Everyone asked where I got them and they really created a fabulous atmosphere with their music. They were also lovely guys. They wore our school caps and ties- which they wanted to keep at the end- which was fine! The band were without a doubt my favourite part of the whole event.
Thank you for helping us to get it right. I appreciate we probably asked too many questions, but we had to pitch it correctly. I hope that I will have another opportunity to book one of your bands, if not the same one, again.
– Jazz band, Private Event, Ealing, July 2012 –
A arrived in plenty of time, was well turned out, extremely courteous, played beautifully for 3 hours, entertaining all guests, ranging from 14 months old to 85 years plus. Everyone was very complimentary about her playing, including some professional and semi-professional musicians attending the lunch. She was most accommodating and I would not hesitate to request her or use MSH again.
I would also like to thank you for the hard work you put in at very short notice to secure A for our party. I have no hesitation in recommending your service to anyone. It made a large family lunch a very special occasion and my stepmother was truly delighted by the surprise.
– Solo violinist, Private Party, Cheshire, June 2012 –
I knew from the way that you were on e mail and phone to expect a professional group - but I had no idea just how talented they would be. They were note perfect and REALLY professional! Perfect for the event. They arrived well before starting time, dressed appropriately and were a joy to listen to.Everyone involved in the organising of the event was really impressed and our guests really enjoyed the ambience that the strings created. Please pass on our thanks and admiration to them for delivering such an excellent performance.
– String Quartet, Launch Event, Marketing Gloucester, Gloucestershire, June 2012 –
So many guests have commented on her playing and she had a standing ovation when we left!!! It's just such a shame I didn't get to hear her more than I did!!! She gave me a smile in the ceremony and I had a chat ith her at the reception. Thank you so much for putting us in touch and organising everything. I will definitely recommend your company unreservedly in future!
