Popular dates in London get booked quickly, especially in summer. We recommend enquiring as early as possible if you can, however we have one of the largest string rosters in the country (almost 1600 musicians!), so are usually happy to take on last-minute bookings where we can.

It would be impossible to list here all of the venue’s we have supplied musicians to in London; we supply around 800 events every year. However notable venue’s include The Ned, Somerset House, The V&A, Fitzrovia Chapel, Strawberry Hill House, Kew Gardens, Wembley Stadium, The Houses of Parliament, and many more.

String ensembles in London absolutely can play outdoors. They will require you supply armless chair for each musician, and cover from the elements. The cover is for the sun just as much as the rain, as even direct sunlight can do some really nasty damage to the instruments.

As part of our service, the musicians will bring their own instruments and music stands, and of course great energy!

String quartet’s play acoustically, so they will not bring amplification with them unless this has been specifically referred to during the booking process. They will also require cover from the elements if required to play outside.

The string quartet will be wearing smart event appropriate attire, unless otherwise agreed during the booking process. This is usually something along the lines of smart black.
