Biography

Isabel is an award-winning harpist based in Surrey, performing across England. She began playing the harp at just four years old and was a key member of the National Youth Harp Orchestra of Great Britain (NYHO) for 14 years, serving as Section Leader, Co-Leader, and ultimately Leader. Isabel has performed at prestigious venues such as St John’s Smith Square, Cadogan Hall, St James’s Church Piccadilly, and the Menuhin Hall.

Her ensemble career has taken her across the UK, Europe, and the United States, with highlights including performances at Albi Cathedral in France and St Stephen’s Basilica in Budapest. A standout achievement was playing Mahler’s 6th Symphony at the Royal Festival Hall with the Duet Philharmonic Orchestra. Isabel has also contributed to music education, supporting the NYHO’s Junior Section as an instructor for young harpists aged 5–11, helping them develop their ensemble and performance skills.

At age 13, Isabel was awarded the Most Promising Harpist award by Four Girls Four Harps and achieved both her Grade 8 and her Diploma from the London College of Music. She has since expanded her solo repertoire and honed her versatility as a harpist, excelling in sight-reading and accommodating specific music requests. Isabel’s adaptability and musical expertise make her an excellent addition to any event or concert.
